Local and National School Sport Indicators

Each year, schools are required to complete a National PE and School Sport Survey. The most recent was carried out in June 2009 and reflects participation figures for the period September 2008 to June 2009.

This page shows the PE Curriculum that the school offers in line with the Governments target of two hours each week for every child between the ages of 5 and 16. Local and national figures are provided as a comparison.

3 Hour uptake of School based Sport

This page shows the percentage of students involved in 3 hours of school based sport and physical education each week, compared to the local and national situation.

Sporting activities on offer.

This page shows the range of sporting opportunities offered by the school during either curriculum or extra curriculum time.  Average numbers of activities locally and nationally are provided as a comparison.

This page shows the percentage of students involved in both Intra (inter form/inter house) and Inter (against other schools) competitive sport opportunities during the year. Local and national figures are provided as a comparison.
